One frame at a time
Most framing is either mass-produced — done in five minutes — or precious and expensive: a proper framer, £80 and up. Partout sits in between. It makes a single small photo feel intentional, without the cost or the ceremony.
We’re for people doing up their first flat, starting their first proper gallery wall — not necessarily design-literate, but wanting their place to feel considered rather than showroom-perfect. Start with one frame near eye level, add the rest as you go — that’s basically how every gallery wall you’ve ever liked got made.
A stairwell or hallway wall that’s been quietly added to over years — family photos, holiday snaps, a photobooth strip, each in a slightly different frame, none of it matching on purpose.
The materials
Two frames — black or oak — each with an ivory conservation mat. The mats are cut and framed by hand, so no two are ever perfectly identical. That’s kind of the point.
